Pastor Mark Horton

Pastor Mark Horton came to Faith United in January of 2011. He moved here from Corydon, Indiana where he had led the congregation for over 20 years. With almost 25 years of experience, Faith United becomes his third church to Pastor.

Pastor Mark is married to Joyce and they recently celebrated their twenty-ninth wedding anniversary. They have four children, Laura, who graduated from Asbury College in 2004 and now resides in Washington, D.C.; twin boys Daniel, a senior at Indiana Wesleyan University and Nathaniel who lives at home with his parents, and Joshua who passed away from an accident in 1995.

Pastor Mark became a Christian in 1982. He served 4 years in the United States Air Force then attended Covenant Foundation College where he received his training for the ministry.

He enjoys spending time with his family, teaching and preaching, interacting with people and reading early Methodist literature.
