We believe the Bible was inspired by God, given without error, and is our final authority for faith and practice.
We believe the Bible teaches there is one God, who exists as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe the Bible teaches God has always existed and is the creator of all things. He is sovereign, everywhere present, almighty, all knowing, holy, just, and the source of all truth and love.
We believe the Bible teaches Jesus Christ entered this world in a human body, was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross, rose from the dead, ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father. He will return to raise the dead
and judge the world. There is a heaven to gain and a hell to avoid.
We believe the Bible teaches the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He convicts the world of sin. He brings spiritual life and assurance to
believers. He produces the fruit of salvation and gives spiritual gifts to build up the church. However, since He divides the gifts according to His
will, no single gift can be required for all believers. Therefore, the true evidence of the Holy Spirit is a holy life.
We believe the Bible teaches that we were created in God's image, but we have fallen into sin and cannot save ourselves. Jesus Christ is our only
salvation. This salvation comes by God's grace and through our faith in the work of Christ.
We believe the Bible teaches that we must be born again. The new birth brings forgiveness and freedom from the practice of willful sin. As we talk in the Spirit, we have security in Christ. The Spirit leads us to a complete cleansing from the inner nature of sin which enables us to love God with all
our heart and our neighbor as ourselves.
We believe the Bible teaches all believers are adopted into the family of God, which is the body of Christ or the church. The church is not a particular
denomination and we do not claim that we alone are right. We are a local congregation in fellowship with all true believers across history and around the
world.
We believe the Bible teaches that we should observe the sacraments of baptism and communion. These are outward and visible signs of God's inward grace.
